Polaris (T-SQL/MS-SQL)

A Polaris connector would also be very cool. Short of waiting for someone else to write one, is there documentation of what's required to make it work? Or any pointers on where to start if we wanted to try to build one ourselves?

Yes, we've got to do some more work on those docs. A Polaris connector is theoretically fairly straightforward because they give you SQL access. Just install the PHP MS SQL extension and you're in business.
